New Teacher Guides From DBG

With winter break just around the corner now is the perfect time to stock up on Teacher Guides for 2018. Some of our recently released titles now have supplemental material perfect for your readers. The latest FREE Guides are available to download and great for lesson plans in the new year. Here are a few:

New York Times best-selling author Tamara Ireland Stone combines friendship, coding, and lots of popcorn in her fun and empowering middle-grade debut. Click’d kicks off a new series perfect for tech savvy readers. The accompanying Teacher’s Guide offers Pre-Reading Activates, a Quiz, and even a primer on The Software Development Cycle.

The Cold War backdrop of L.M. Elliot’s Suspect Red puts McCarthyism dead center in the story’s plot. To help middle grade readers further explore this troubling chapter of American history the Suspect Red discussion guide aligns with College and Career Readiness Anchor Standards (CCR) for Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening, and Language.

Coco: A Story About Music, Shoes, and Family by Diana López retells the story of Pixar Animation Studios’ latest film, as well as features original content expanding upon its rich, vibrant world and characters. The Educator’s Guide featuring Personal Response Questions, and Creative Activities, is the perfect addition.

The titles listed above are just a few of the recent additions to our growing library of supplemental material. You can find the current list right here on our Teachers and Librarians page. With more on the way as we get ready for an exciting 2018!
