Summer is flying by! It seems crazy that only a few short weeks ago we were celebrating another year of amazing books at the ALA Annual Conference in New Orleans.

ALA 2018 is almost here!
As you put together your schedule for ALA, don’t forget to add in a stop or two (ten!) at the Disney Books booth to meet with your favorite (or soon to be favorite) authors, and get a sneak peek at our exciting fall list! We can’t wait to see you in the Big Easy.
Join Us This Weekend at ALA Midwinter 2018!
Our first School & Library convention of 2018 is this weekend where we will be setting up shop at The American Library Association’s Midwinter Conference in Denver Colorado! We’ll be at booth #821 from when the doors open on Friday night until they turn off the lights next Monday following the ALA Youth Media Awards Press Conference.
On Saturday, February 10th Dina takes center stage at the conference’s Book Buzz Theater for the Joint Publisher Book Buzz at 12:30pm, and throughout the weekend we’ll be talking about books, giving sneak peeks at our upcoming titles and giving away as much swag as you can carry.
Galleys on hand include: #Murdertrending, Aru Shah And The End Of Time, Captain Superlative!, Charlie & Frog, Little Do We Know, Neanderthal Opens The Door To The Universe, Picture Us In The Light, The Itchy Book, Thomas Paine And The Dangerous Word and many, many more. So make sure you come by and see us throughout the weekend to score Advanced Reader Copies of our upcoming 2018 releases!
NCTE 2017 Recap!
We’re back from St. Louis! (And maybe still a little stuffed from Thanksgiving) where earlier this month we attended the National Council of Teachers of English Annual Conference along with thousands of teachers and school administrators from all over the world. As always NCTE proved to be a whirlwind couple of days. We are incredibly thankful to everyone who stopped by our booth to talk all things Disney Publishing related.
On Friday we kicked-off the convention with a special Miles Morales signing by author Jason Reynolds, making booth 427 the first stop for many eager attendees. Following that authors joined us right after their Funny, You Don’t SEEM Educational panel for another packed signing of Bob, Not Bob.
